1. Review lesson 1 (vocab, patterns, remember to study the recognition words.  know how to say the word and its pinyin when you see the word and can use it in a sentence)
2. Do workbook pages 23 - 27
3. Finish radical project, due Tuesday
4. Unit test next Wednesday

1. Do workbook page 21 - 22.
2. Recording due tomorrow.
3. Continue your radical project - due Tuesday

1. Review lesson 1 thoroughly. 
2. Vocab quiz tomorrow (writing words and recognition words)

1. write new characters 学，（or 學，）美.  Practice and memorize.
2. Read lesson 1 dialogue 2 several times (both traditional and simplified version)
3. Recording (see "recording assignment, due Friday. Follow instructions carefully.

Period 7 class:
1. Review pinyin: zh, ch, sh, ri, z, c, s, j, q, x.  Go to pinyin table to listen to these sounds (in combination with single vowels and four tones) in combination with the vowels a, e, i, o, u, and the four tones.  There will be a quiz on these sounds tomorrow
2. Practice writing the three new characters (中国吗）
3. Understand how you make a yes/no question by adding "ma"
