星期三, 11/30 Recite dialogue 1 .   Review "time/clock" expressions
                     New word: 刻 (a quarter of an hour).
                     Do workbook page 44 - 45 (IIA, III A, B, C)

星期四, 12/1  Do workbook page 46 - 47 IIIID - IV A.B)
                    Do recording (due next Monday)
                    Memorize new phrases:  早飯，中飯，晚飯。(breakfast/lunch/dinner)
                    Vocab quiz (Lesson 3 part 1) next Monday.

星期五, 12/2  Same assignment as Thursday's.

星期一 11/21 Copy and memorize new vocab ( 多，大， 吃飯/饭，怎麼樣/怎么样， 太好了）. 
                     Write out birthdate and age (year, month, and day) of 5 family members and/or friends in Chinese.
                     For example: 爸爸的生日是一九六0 年一月一日。他今年五十一歲。
 
星期二 11/22  Copy and memorize new vocab (號/号，謝謝/谢谢，喜歡/欢）.    Recognition quiz tomorrow.
Write out birthdate and age (year, month, and day) of 5 family members and/or friends in Chinese.

星期三 11/23   感恩節快樂  Have a Happy Thanksgiving!  There will be a vocab quiz (writing) next Monday. 

星期一 11/14  Review dates (year, month, day, day of week), know how to write 年，月，日，星期.
                     Do workbook page 40 - 42.

星期二 11/15  Review lesson 2 thoroughly (vocabulary, dialogue, patterns).  Unit test Wednesday.
                     (Please hand in your character practice, workbook, and pattern sheet tomorrow)

星期三 11/16 Review dates (year, month, day, day of week), know how to write 年，月，日，星期. 
                    Quiz on dates (Thursday/Friday).  Practice saying the dates several times.  You will be quizzed on speaking the dates too.

星期四 11/17 Write new vocab. (生日，今年，多大，歲）.  You may write the simplified version if you wish.
                    Also, know say/write the following questions in Chinese:
                    你的生日是幾月幾日？今天是幾月幾日星期幾？你今年幾歲？
                    Quiz Monday.

星期五 11/18 Same as Thursday's assignment.  Quiz Monday.

Mon, 11/7  (Period 8) Read Lesson 2 dialogue 2 several times.
                Understand the text and be able to answer questions (in Chinese) about the conversation.
Tue, 11/8   No school.
Wed, 11/9  Review L2 (vocab, text, patterns).  Do workbook page 37 - 38 (IIA & IIIA)
Thurs, 11/10  Review L2, do Workbook page 38 - 39 (IIIB, C IV A)
Fri, 11/11   Review L2, do Workbook page 39 - 40 (IV B, C)
                 Do Voice Thread project (due next Tuesday)
                 Unit test (Lesson 2 part 2) next Wednesday, 11/16.
